Precision Guesswork Technologies LLC (“PGT,” “we”) builds local-first, privacy-first software. In plain terms: we collect almost nothing, we never sell your data, and we never share it with third parties. This policy covers both this website and the FireLine app.

This website

Our website is a static site. It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or third-party trackers, and it does not collect personal information as you browse.

The only way the site sends us anything is if you choose to email us. If you do, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it solely to reply to you. We don’t add you to a list or share your message.

The FireLine app

FireLine collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no accounts, ads, or trackers. It does not require an internet connection to work.

• Microphone (optional): If you use the voice feature to set a timer by speaking, the audio is processed entirely on your device by an offline speech recognizer bundled in the app. Your voice is never recorded to a file, never stored, and never transmitted — it’s turned into text on the fly and immediately discarded. If you never tap the mic, the microphone is never accessed, and you can deny or revoke the permission and still use the app fully by hand.
• Your timers (names, durations, chosen alert sounds) are saved locally on your device so they survive closing the app or restarting your phone. This never leaves your device, and uninstalling the app removes it.
• Notifications & background operation: FireLine uses a notification and a foreground service only to keep your timers running and able to alert you while the app is backgrounded or your screen is locked. No personal data is involved.

No sale of personal data

We do not and will not sell your personal information.

No third-party sharing

We do not share your information with third parties. There are no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services in our website or app.

Your rights

Because we don’t collect or store personal data on our servers, there’s nothing for us to look up, export, or delete. Any message you email us, you may ask us to delete at any time — just write to the address below. Data the FireLine app keeps on your device is fully under your control and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Children

Our products are general-purpose tools and are not directed to children under 13.
